Simple Ingredients:

  • 2 cups hot water
  • 2 lemon and ginger tea bags
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp grated ginger
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves
  • 1 sprig of rosemary (optional)
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 1/2 cup beetroot juice
  • 1 can of Sprite
  • 3 beetroot slices (for garnish)

 Brewing Instructions:

  1. Brew the lemon and ginger tea in 2 cups of hot water for 5 minutes, then remove the tea bags and let the tea cool to room temperature
  2. Pour 1 tablespoon of honey into each glass.
  3. Grate 1/2 tablespoon of ginger into each glass on top of the honey.
  4. Add a few mint leaves and a sprig of rosemary (if using) to each glass.
  5. Add a cup of ice cubes to each glass.
  6. Our 1/4 cup of beetroot juice into each glass.
  7. Add 1/2 cup of the cooled lemon and ginger tea to each glass.
  8. Top off each glass with Sprite.
  9. Garnish each glass with a slice of beetroot.
  10. Stir gently and serve immediately.
